Volodymyr Mykytenko (1970) is a Ukrainian sculptor. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. He started sculpting in 1989, as he comes from the famous Ukrainian dynasty of sculptors.
In 1996, the National Union of Artists of Ukraine admitted Mykytenko to the section of sculptors.
Creative path
Among Volodymyr Mykytenko’s creative achievements, the main place is occupied by monumental works glorifying Ukrainian soldiers who were taken away from us by the War in eastern Ukraine. He created a huge number of sculptural works and compositions, works mainly in the style of academism with elements of modernism and the genre of small art.
Mykytenko is a regular participant in the main exhibitions of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 2002 he has been participating in the Biennial of Sculpture. He is a regular participant of Art Festivals in the Ukrainian House. Scholar of exhibitions of the Ukrainian Academy of Arts. He has repeatedly exhibited with solo exhibitions abroad.
The works are in private collections: Ukraine, France, Canada, Switzerland, USA, England, Holland and other countries.
