Antonina Rylo (1874-1966) – Ukrainian artist, painter.
She was born in the city of Romny, Poltava province. In 1898 she attended an evening drawing school in Rostov-na-Dony, and later studied in Munich.
In 1907 she moved to Odessa, where she taught drawing in women’s gymnasiums and secondary schools (1910-1935). In 1918 a personal exhibition of the artist took place, where she presented female portraits and still lifes.
From 1926 she became a member of the Society. K. Kostandi. She exhibited sketches and still lifes at the XIX (1908), XXVII (1917), XXIX (1919) exhibitions of the Society of Southern Russian Artists, founded in 1890. It had the status of the Independent Creative Association of Odessa Artists. Among the founders and most active members of the association were such famous artists as K.K. Kostandi, G.A. Ladyzhensky, GS Golovkov, P.O. Nilus et al.
