The work reflects the artist’s concern about the constant mutability of nature, which undergoes a continuous process of regeneration.
A sculptural composition of nine drops. The artist is troubled by the way contemporary artificial culture gradually replaces direct observation and sensory experience with theory, causing us to lose our connection to the tangible world. By creating larger-than-life dewdrops, Buchatska draws attention to natural phenomena, using art as a lens for their heightened appreciation.
