Anatoliy Varvarov is a Ukrainian artist. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Received the category of artist-restorer of easel painting.
He was born in 1967 in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region, Ukraine.
In 1987 he graduated from Dnipropetrovsk Art School. E.V. Vuchetych, then studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture.
One of the members of the art commune “Squat on Olehivska”, which emerged in the early 1990s in Kyiv. The association professed a non-profit view of art and demonstrated an innovative approach to the interpretation of modern processes in society. Artists did not limit themselves to the walls of galleries and museums and became known for their social actions, installations, performances, flash mobs.
Varvarov’s works are in UKM Uue Kunsti Muuseum | MONA The Museum of New Art, the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Dnieper Art Museum, CSM M17, collections of galleries Soviart, AVS ART, RA, Vernissage; in private collections in Ukraine, Great Britain, Austria, the USA, Germany, Canada, Italy, Chile, China, Estonia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia.
