Dubovskoy Nikolai

Pearl Sunset 68x98 cm, oil on canvas
About work

The painting “Pearl sunset”, which is skillfully written, renders the night state of nature, and brings a strong emotional feeling. The artist described the wonderful state of “night of silence”. The artist finds unique way to show it to the audience. The spotlighted by moonlight clouds stretch along the sky in horizontal lines, occupying almost the entire upper half of the picture, reflected in the calm water. Earth loses its corporeality, as well as the water – just a mirror for the sky.
