Born in Kharkiv in 1966. Graduated from Kharkiv National University.

Vasiliev’s works have been published in Vogue (Germany, Italy), Max, Stern, Spiegel, Face (Germany), B&W, New York Arts Magazine, Nude, FOCUS Magazine (USA), RUSH (Italy) and other magazines; exhibited at LACMA Art Museum (USA), Museum of Contemporary Photography (USA), Museum of Fine Arts (USA), International Gallery of Erotic Photography (Germany) and other world art institutions; participated in exhibitions and art fairs: Art Basel Miami Beach (2009), Scope Art New York (2010), FIAC (2010), Paris Photo (2010), Art LA (2011); PHOTO LA (2012); Art Miami (2012), Shanghai Art Fair (2012), The 7th Guangzhou International Luxury Exhibition (2012), 14th Venice Architecture Biennale (2014) and others.

The artist’s works are included in Phillips, Bonhams and other auctions. He lives and works in Munich and Kyiv.
