Deyak Mykhailo is a Ukrainian artist.
Was born in the village of Zolotarevo, Khust district on February 4, 1984.
Education
1999-2003 – studied and graduated from Uzhhorod College of Arts. A. Erdely. He studied under the direction of the People’s Artist of Ukraine V. Mykita. Since 2003 – Student of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. Landscape workshop of Professor V. Zabashta, senior teacher I. Melnychuk.
Creative path
The basis of the author’s work is the impression in which the subtle nuances of the state of nature resonate with his personal emotional experiences. What is the originality of his artistic thinking, picturesque manner, style? It is likely that Michael often relies on the subconscious, his emotional nature. The sharpness of his impressions is conveyed mainly by the color structure of the works.
In the person of Mykhailo Deyak we have a recognizable artist, with his unique style, with great creative inspiration, with his own concept of artistic thinking and creative face. He is an artist with great creative potential in the future. Mykhailo Deyak was the first in Ukraine to start producing oil paints. He has developed his own unique color palette, and paints with his own paints, which are also bought by other artists.
Since 2010, Mykhailo Deyak has been working on exclusive terms with the Mystetska Zbirka Gallery in Kyiv. In June 2011, the Art Collection Gallery organized a plein air in Europe for the artist. The result of this trip was a wonderful series of paintings filled with impressions of the trip. In 2011, a catalog of Mykhailo Deyak’s works was published, which included all the main directions of the master’s work. The artist is also a regular participant in the auctions “Golden Section” and “Corners”.
In 2001 he took 1st place in the competition “Sakura Blossoms”, Uzhhorod, Ukraine. In 2004 – 2006, a participant in competitions for the award. Shatalina, named after Bubble, and them. Zoretsky, NAOMA Exhibition Hall, Kyiv, Ukraine.
The works are in the funds of the National Museum of Ukrainian Art. In private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Canada and France.
